Hi Brian
I do like your hull color - I think it looks just right. Are you going to fill any of the screw holes and add fake welds etc?

Thank you Bob! The appearance changes dramatically with the clear coat. I presume it will go through more changes when I add filters over it after I ad camo. I am pretty torn about the welds. They look really good on the models I have seen on the forum but the paint I use is automotive and very thick I don’t know if the fine details will even render. I am more focused on the Zimmerit. It’s the only major mod I am planning to do. The welds take a lot of time too and I am really trying to hurry the build to make room for the FAMO.Robert E Morey wrote: ↑Wed Jul 11, 2018 10:41 pmHi Brian

Actually, the real reason I am in a hurry is because I want to drive this thing!!!

You are right - welds are very time consuming. I would recommend filling some of the lower screw head recesses though - they will detract some on the look.
Wanting to drive the model and getting a FAMO are both great reasons to move along!

WEATHERING: Brian's 2017 NO. 10 LATE TIGER 1 BUILD
I used a bunch of pigments, and washes even crushed grass. I like this direction because it can be heavy and still look like a piece of equipment that has only driven a few hundred kilometers.

That's looking good Brian. How come you have not fitted the hubcaps also?

Thanks Vince. That is the back of the ROADWHEELS. The fronts of the wheels are still unpainted. I wanted to assemble them completely before I painted the fronts so I can get the screw ends and nuts underneath the base coat.

Oops. My bad. Forgot that the hubcaps on those sets of wheels are the low profile ones.

When the wheels start getting installed it really starts taking shape.
