Brian,
I think red oxide is fine for the floor. The crew compartment was a buff white. Engine and battery compartment are fine rust red.

Brushed some of my automotive paint on. I’ll probably sand it down and re do it when I get a spray gun.

FLOOR NO. 10 LATE TIGER 1 BUILD

Post by Brian Ostlind »

I added red hull paint over the red primer on the floor and then gave it two coats of satin Humbrol enamel varnish. Here is a picture with the suspension bars on. Looks so good! does any one know how to polish the inside of the brass bushings? I got a little loctite in them when I set them.

You could try rubbing it with acetone (or your wife's nail polish remover) to soften it up and remove with a sharp implement.
