Replace stock's Idler wheel's cranks by Liam Mahoney's upgrade parts received last week.
At the end , allow me to remind one thing :
The hole's diameter of the stock's part is 5mm, locked by M5x12mm countersunk screw;
Liam Mahoney's part is 6mm , need locked by M6x12 or 15mm countersunk screw.

Hi Chang,
I didn't realize the idler wheel can touch the rear bottom of sponson, I'm assuming this is at max adjustment.
A picture of mine
Cheers

With standard 48 link pairs of each track and 35 degrees of suspension angle , my JT's Idler wheel is that high. If you reduced the number of the track link pairs and / or < 35 degree , it won't be so I think.

Thanks Chang, I think mine has less then 48 link pairs.
Mine look a little tight, but might stretch a little with running

Re: Jagdtiger with Liam Mahoneys Idler cranks
Good information. I have Liam's cranks; have yet to fit them to my King Tiger (as well as for my JagdTiger). I also have Liam's steel tracks for both but again haven't mounted them yet. They might stretch but I rather doubt to any noticeable extent so I'm interested in your results with stock tracks.
My tracks as they stand are far too loose and do not perform well as seen in my so far limited testing.
I have the swing arms on my KT set for 32° at the moment however I may decide to change this.

Re: Jagdtiger with Liam Mahoneys Idler cranks
I’m at 47 links a side, very worn tracks ( need replacing soon). Stock idlers the tracks were too tight, with Liam’s fitted I now have adjustment available. 48 links didn’t work for me.
Jagdtiger 2020 number 40. With Gun Smoke, CO2 recoil and Driving on custom Brushless motors.
