Re: Florian StuG build
I've seen magnets used before but not such an engineered solution.
What he hasn't realised is that it will now only drive North and South

Re: Florian StuG build
Hopefull the right technical solution Adrian. - Maybe the StuG is now running faster to north or south
This magnets are verry smal, so I did some more to suck firmly tight enough.
cheers

Re: Florian StuG build
Thx Björn,
the sand blast is first to hold welding and paint work tight. Secound for the rough opting in the finishing. It is a test for me to look how it works in the end with the weathering.
Well the best thing you can do is buy the kit first, and start to build last, if you're a newbe.
On my Famo build I was the secound starter. Sometimes not so easy, but helpfull in this forum.

I'm not sleeping...
Having not much time this summer to build, but doing some work on the StuG details and finished the track wheels.
today I set 240 rivets for the fenders... feel like setting 500

Re: Florian StuG build
Hi Björn,
its pretty easy.
Heat the steel with a hot flame, then solder the brass with solder.
You are correct with the MG bullet simulation

Fortunatly the engines are installed, so I could fix the mid section an the track fenders. - With this I could paint the first color. Any more will be paint soon, after fixing some more details.
The tracks are running verry well. can't wait to see it running in terain Cheers
