Now with the lagged gun barrel in place

I am struggling to get the lagging clips tight, anybody else had this issue?

Got nowhere near that yet so can't help I'm afraid but it looks very impressive. Congrats. Are you going to motorise it?

Yes it will be motorised with all option packs but these are not available until mid May

Looks great and a great job done. I think your muzzle reflectors on the wrong way round.
I do that sort of thing a lot but people are usually too polite to say something...... usually
I don't know how you got it together so quick. You must have a bigger hammer than me.
On stainless steel cable ties, I use a decent pair of pliers and a good yank on the strap, holding the fixed point firmly. I was thinking of using plastic cable ties first to provide a positioning place, when happy, cut them off one at a time and fit the stainless cable tie in the position left by the plastic tie.
Watch out on the cut ends of the stainless ties they could end up like razor blades. Blunt them off if you can.

All cleaned up and primed, repaint and put back together tomorrow

Sorry about that Mark I feel your pain.
I've got the fenders/mud guards on quick release retainers at the moment because they have to come off so frequently. And the exhaust box drops off at the snap of the fingers. Can't wait until it can do other tricks.

Question about the nylon bearing for the main gun recoil - does this bearing slide with the gun barrel or does the gun barrel slide inside it? As it’s a tight fit onto the barrel and appears to slide in the housing, I’ve assumed this way round. But it seems to make more sense for the barrel to slide inside it? Anybody else at this stage yet?
