Suspension arm angle

Post by Paul Sparkes »

I’m chasing a few problems with the drive train on the Jagdtiger.

On inspection some of the torsion bar end were loose and the angle had changed.

The manual says set to 25 degrees, is the KT the same angle? I see some mention 35 degree. Is there any info to support the angle change or what works better.

Thanks

I did set up my king Tiger with a higher angle just to get the slack in the tracks out because I couldn’t tighten the idler far enough. That worked well for me.

Given all your KT experience what angle would you now recommend. I’ve got to install mine soon and would appreciate your guidance. Many thanks
