Spektrum dx9

Post by Andy Walker »

Just wondered if anyone has setup a Spektrum dx9 transmitter for their tank? I have been trying but with no luck so far. Any advice appreciated.

yes, I followed the instructions as closely as possible but it appears the DX9 has a slightly different menu to the other two transmitters.

I followed the forum instructions to setup the tx / receiver but cant get motors to work. I managed to do it with a DX6i, but not DX9 Black. I'm not sure if its a faulty rx, but it bound to the tx okay.

Sounds like you might not be bound correctly.

Try re-binding RX/TX

Good luck

Have you plugged servos in to the each channel to try them ? Is the light on the RX on solid ?

Yep, nothing works with the DX9 / Rx combo......yet works fine with the DX6i / Rx combo. Both Tx / Rx bind fine with the flashing light going solid. I suspect the Rx I'm using with the DX9 may be faulty, but I dont have another that works with it.

Hiya, In that case the only other thing that springs to mind is that maybe you have the leads into the RX the wrong way up.

The black wire should be on top.

I have at last got the DX9 Tx and AR9020 Rx working. It appears this Rx wont work unless 2 satellite Rx are connected to it
