Thanks for the update Allan.

Comparing the length of the barrel and the wheels to the kitchen sink gives a good idea of size. Never thought that it would be so big. Keep it up.

Hey Allan , you're going to enjoy the build. I recently completed mine with the Armorpax detail kit. It really helps the look, but definitely changes the challenge level. I'm still a rookie, but am learning fast. I found a turntable to be immensely helpful for building this beast. I built mine using some scrap chunks I milled to fit the chassis without interfering with the gun parts. I've still got the final details to finish, but need a break.
Cheers,
Tom

I've build mine also with Armorpax parts. Looking realy good.
Unfortunatly you can't use all Armorpax details, otherwise the PAK wouln't run anymore. So you have to think about the using of that model.
You may have al look at my building report.

Yes Allan, I've got a few more. I'm just a bit disorganized, and haven't compiled them yet. I'll get some more posted. The details kit made for a fun and educational build. As Florian mentioned, some pieces will not allow the model to move in some of it's functions. The suspension lockout parts would not allow the gun to be towed and use the suspension, so I left them off. Was an interesting journey figuring out how they worked in reality! Also the traverse got blocked by the size of some resin details for the suspension, but I left them as I didn't feel like modifying as I'm not anticipating traversing the model. I also got a bit intense with hiding the most obvious screw heads that took away from the scale visuals. There was much countersinking and puttying over flat head screws. It does help if one's so inclined to clean up the details. And resin parts are certainly a delicate operation to manage!

In my goal of hiding screws, and keeping the model disassemble-able, I came up with this idea for the recoil compensator. I probably took it a bit far, but once I got it in my head, the mechanic in me wants to make things serviceable regardless  . I added some small bolts for detail look, and used magnets and dowels to secure the unit to the main structure. I'm learning as I go...

Wow, seems like a lifetime ago ! Here's my recoil spade mods. I took some artistic license and used Knupfer's threaded studs to show on the face of the spades. Seemed to flow better with all the other riveting, and a believable fastener compared to the kit screws.
