Anyone out there use a Xenon Flash to simulate fire? I have, but would love to find other folk.

Yes Richie, even the one in those disposable cameras wiegh in around 400V - but the amperage is in the milli's.
Actually the ones in the 1/16th Tamiyas are like mine 650V, but again amperage is in the milliamps.
Yes, they can discarge inappropiately if mishandled and you can get a shock (I would not call it a "belt" by any means)- but not to the degree people generally think. I would consider a shotgun blank way more a danger......
