Finished Fender/Rear Lights

Post by clive Lockwood »

Hi All,
Here are some photos of the finished hull width indicator lights and the rear light, they have been made so you can fit a bulb inside so the fronts are seperate, the front light stem has been drilled through for the wires and would require the bracket making, then the light will need to be glued on to the bracket the rear light has the two fixing holes pilot drilled and you will need to tap them to your prefered size of thread and make up the L shape bracket, pm me if your interested. cheers, clive.

Hi Clive
Nice job on the lights. One thing I would like to know is where did you
get the hinge on the fenders I have been looking for ages for this.

Thanks

Fantastic work Clive. Looking forward to seeing your P3 come together. You've set the bar high with your scratchbuilds. Great to see you turn your talent to an Armortek model.

Thanks Jeff, pleased you like them, just got my front lights fitted tonight, i had to drill the centre out a bit more for the wires but other than that they went on fine, there is a conduit that runs from the lights over the fender and down towards the front lights on some pics i have, i think i,ll do something similar and place a juction box over the unused mounting hole, another problem solved.

forgot to mention, i am still working on the ariel mounting arm and am looking at the turret side hatches now, ther should be a metal port cover on one of the doors, i think both sides, its, not included in the kit so unless armorpax make it i will have to have a go at that as well, i,ll let you know.

Hello Clive,
Do you have all the images that you need for the ariel mounting arm?
