I used UniBond Repair Epoxy Adhesive, 10 years and it hasn't come loose yet. plus all the clamps I had.

Looking at the photos of your deck, if you are looking to make the tiger more detailed you might want to think about changing the deck bolts. Just ask Gill if you can buy some square headed deck bolts, Mark made them for the later releases.

You can buy the faceted hose for the air filters from Gill, they make them for the 131 kit.

An interesting collection of bits.

The two brackets top right are for the main drive motors. The single hole bolts onto the bottom of the motor and the two holes on the angled end piece bolt into the slots in the hull floor. They were to prevent the motor torque from twisting the motors free.

The square bar and threaded part are the elevation screw.

The steel Z shaped piece is to hold the elevation motor.

The aluminium part next to it is the turret turn motor bracket.

The L shaped bracket beneath it is to hold the limit switches for the elevation.

The round brass part with the slot in the side is for the recoil, as is the small steel part bottom right. The slot in the side is for the muzzle flash LED lead.

The cog looks like the turret turn cog - see if it meshes with the turret gear ring.

The other parts don't look original to me, so might be part of someones custom recoil design.

Thankyou Adrian and Paul. A lot clearer now. I will have to find a way to tell my son that he has to unbolt the motors he struggled with to fit these brackets!

Those motor brackets are obsolete and should not be used. The motors should be flange mounted to the hull sides ONLY.

Additionally you do not have a full set of parts. Somehow you have parts manufactured for different kits at different times, and they are not compatible with each other.

I have a set of engine mounting brackets that you could try, they are the original ones supplied with my Tiger and may well work with yours. You are welcome to borrow them in the first instance....

Started on the interior controls for the gun and thanks to Adrian I now know what bits I have to help me. In the photo the first attempt at the elevation of the gun with my own brackets. I think that the screw needs to have a bearing underneath the motor holder take the weight of the barrel and the motor mounted on a subframe under the motor bracket. I also need to make a longer screw incorporating a thrust bearing. Any comments?

Mark 1 tank gun mechanism. A new barrel elevator screw waiting for a thrust bearing to be delivered. The recoil arm may be set vertically or horizontally, any comments anyone?

You might want to think about rephrasing that - Mark-1-Tanks are Armortek's only direct competitor in the UK

It will depend entirely on the orientation of your recoil servo.
