Hi Sascha,

why did you use 10 Ah cells to reach 30 Ah? 8 rectangular cells would be some easier to wire and would need less space, I mean.

This is my battery for the Jagdtiger. Low height (due to the huge recoil) and 36 Ah at 26 volts.

I have done it the Gerhard way, but I think the Sascha approach is still cool. It allows you to split the pack up and custom fit into your model. Finding enough space for the large monoliths is quite difficult.
On top of that, we have now seen a very safe way of encapsulating the terminals, so that nothing can get to them. First class!

I must be completely mad After a long building Weekend the new gun elevation is ready. A few parts could be recycled, but a lot are new. The elevation is now beside the mounting, to get space for the recoil stuff. All moving parts are a bit stronger now, to absorb the forces better. To lead the recoil mechanism I use a rail for 3D Printers or CNC machines. I also modified the Cylinder to get the exact length of 145mm recoil way later. Hope this works.... In pic 3 you can see the Compressor, the Airtank and the 2/3 way Valve.

I’d be really interested in more information on how you are making this work and what parts you have used.
Also I can see how to get 100mm recoil but 140 is very impressive.
I was going to use a servo with a linear slide but this setup with co2 interests me a lot.

Very impressive work, I only hope my JT turns out half as good.

Do you know the thread size in the end of the barrel? I have modded mine for 140mm of recoil and just about to machine the other parts needed.
I don’t have the barrel here to measure and I want to design the mechanism.

How long is the leadscrew of the elevation mechanism? Customer-made or from Armortek?
Your modifications are really eyes wide open !
