Re: Florians FAMO build
With a bit more detailing work, the Famo is getting better and better. So I installed some more rivets in the loading area.
The electronic parts for the switch and controle panel is nearly finish installed. For switching the main electric I installed 2, 150A relais. One for the engine controler, and one for the other electrik. So I can switch it seperatly with smaler switches. For the safety I installed one 125A fuse for the engine controler an one 20A for the rest.

Re: Florians FAMO build
Hello guys,
yes I am still alive. Had much other things to do, so I could'nt work on the Famo. Fortunatly the weather is going sick, so I will do something inside.
I ordered some parts and plan some special
At first I ordered a kit for my powerpack to build.
Its LiFePo4 with 10Ah. I think thats enough power for the Famo and the battery is also not so heavy.

Re: Florians FAMO build
I have used LiFe batteries for years in R/C helicopters and cars, a lot lighter than traditional batteries and can be fast charged at 3 times their rate, don't see why a lot more people don't use them, Oh by the way, nice build!

What a beautiful wooden crate. Reminded me of the film "Raiders of the lost ark".
