Good to hear from you again Adrian It's taken me a while to get back into the swing of things like Tim and Vince , I went from 1/6 to 1 .1 scale for nine years with my jeep and Bren gun carrier and living on 2.7 acres , but now back in town in new house but this time with a workshop in my garage 6m x 3.5m with toilet and TV .. Dale
Rear deck fixed down for good .. countersunk holes filled in , fake welds done lots of test fitting and re checking but worth it . Still room for the turret ring to be fitted after I do the front deck Dale

It took many hours to get the hatch hinges to work properly got there in the end . The second day was to build up the cast surrounds around hinge and hatch openings plus cast texture came up pretty good .Dale
Added more detail to drives hatch's and modified the air vent machined off back leg off the top part and bent down the rear part . Then cut out a brass the lower section and added fake bolts Dale

I was Just thinking about you David . This works well for us ! The Sherman forum has been slow lately . I'm following your Ideas on lower hull And you can do the same on the upper hull with me if that works for you ? . Whats good about the Sherman you can just bolt on the running gear any time compared to a German tank with torsion bars . Dale
Works fine by me. You have tackled the part I am not looking forward to doing. It really helps seeing your work. Couldn't agree more about the running gear, it would just be in the way and make it heavier. Dave.
