Hello,
A small update,
Have to take off the tracks to fix the back of the famo.
it was a hell of a job to fix the bolts. I used M3 hex bolts on the outside and for the inside i used M3 button heads because you
can almoast not see them.
And did some extra details on the cabin.
Best regards Yves

Hello,
A little update,
Instal the front lights with 12v leds.
Also stared working on the dashboard, drill out the places where the decals come.
I'am gonna use acryl glass for the lights in the board.
Also working on the steering wheel with a servo that works together with the steering actuator.
Pictures comes later.
Best regards Yves

Hi Yves,
Like your FAMO building progress.
Found your FAMO front compartment had been on and off the chassis more than once. Have you met any difficulty of screwing-on the eight positions ( four on each side. See red circles on your photo.)?
I have tried doing so , yet could only screwed on two back holes. The from two holes were in a few mm offset.
Is there any procedure I have done incorrectly , or any trick I have missed ?
Regards,
Lerh Chang
Updated : Now I have sorted out the "a few mm offset" issue. But still a lot of other issues to go ...

Re: Yves sdkfz 9 update
Hi Chang,
I Did take off the front more than one time that's because i wanne fix the nose front of the famo first.
The loading area is al ready fixt. To screw in all the bolts it's a bit of hell. The holes line up correctly but no easy acces.
I use on the outside the M3 hex bolts and on the inside i use M3 button heads ( more easy to screw them in) and these ones you donth
see from the outside.
Now i'am working on the dashboard ( with lights ) and the front window ( can open and close ) that's also a lot of work.
If that is fixt i put the front of the famo back on.
Best regards Yves

Re: Yves sdkfz 9 update
Hello Florian,
Dont know if i take the famo, still some problems with drive and steering.
In reverse turn i donth have engough power, have to look in my transmitter setup. forward is ok.
About the steering on the wheels they turn left and right if they are of the ground, but if i put the famo on the ground they donth turn
not so good. Maybe need some change in my transmitter or else is the steering actuator not strong enough.
I think if the famo is not ready till than, i bring my stug and 251 or my kt
Best regards Yves
