Hi,

and please tell us a few words to your rolled steel texture, looks very realistic!

The texture was made with polyester putty diluted in alcohol. After drying, I use a fine sandpaper to even it out minimally. The arc welding is done with this tool (homemade):

Infantry phone. The cable is pulled just like the real thing with the use of a drum and spring.
