The arc weld looks great.
How did you do it?

The texture was made with polyester putty diluted in alcohol. After drying, I use a fine sandpaper to even it out minimally. The arc welding is done with this tool (homemade):

Infantry phone. The cable is pulled just like the real thing with the use of a drum and spring.

Hi everyone. For several reasons, I haven't had much opportunity to update this post, but the model has advanced in terms of detail.
