Ok, thanks to all with constructive ideas. I will take all variants into consideration.
At the moment I havent fixed anything, it is just all provisoric fixed, so I now started with the wheels.
I find out that there is a lot of space in it. I wonder why. It is much more than I expected tolerance. I will post a photo soon

Re: 2001 Tiger suspension help required.
Hello Guido!
A lot has been written on how to make the older kits top notch (Klasse). Do spend some time looking for build logs on this forum - it will be time well spent!
And do listen to Adrian's advice regarding adjustable suspension. I am inclined to think that it is not the torsion bars (Drehstäbe) that sag, but the grub screws (Madenschrauben) that eat their way into the torsion bars. Either way, adjustable suspension is a *very* good idea!
Other things I am aware of:
1 I understand there was some sort of wheel spacer issue, causing excessive wheel wobble. There is a fix for that.
2 You may have a track with a casting defect, requiring filing away this defect on *every* track link. There are photos on how to do that, too.
Looking forward to seeing your model, maybe Munster next year?!

A little too much is about right...

Re: 2001 Tiger suspension help required.
A question to all pls.
I read about a conversion pack, wheel update delivered from amortek to avoid wheel wobble etc. Is this still available or someone selling this? What does it contain? Anybody has pictures from this? Is this worth it?
Thanks in advance.

Re: 2001 Tiger suspension help required.
I'm not aware of there ever being an official pack from Armortek. The official advice at the time was that the wobble was minimal if the wheels were built correctly, and it was a useful feature as it prevented stones from getting stuck between the wheels. Some of the builders at the time disagreed and made their own mods, which are on the link I sent you
There was a conversion part to change to having the drive motors bolted to the hull side instead of the floor, but I think that is only relevant to the very first kit release of the Mid Tiger in 2003. It was a simple round ring of steel which bolted to the hull sides and gave a template of where the mounting holes needed to be drilled.
Adrian.

Guido,
I know this is an old post but did you find a fix for the wheel wobble spacer problem on your Tiger?
I am attempting to restart my 2005 tiger and have one side mocked up with the wheels and have excessive wheel wobble.
