Hi Armortek
Interesting choice for the next model and as always I hope it is a success for you.
After the last survey you identified 6 possible kit releases and I was wondering if one or more of these are still in your plans ?
Regards
Steve

A good one, I hope a wider community of interests discovers this model. Now my Gypsy Uncle had one or two of these in his youth!

Awesome idea but Armortek has it backwards, now the body is going to rust away and the frame is going to stay solid?

Not yet. We will jiggle the mix of aluminium and steel that we use in the chassis to try to get an even weight distribution over the axels

If we made the body Aluminium, it would need to be at least 3mm thick. Otherwise first time you pick it up it would buckle.johnny johnson wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 10:45 pmAwesome idea but Armortek has it backwards, now the body is going to rust away and the frame is going to stay solid?

I love Armortek models, my comment was a direct result of owning a 1984 LR90, (defender here) body was awesome, everything else had major rust in it, would never complain about your models, how they are built or which ones are built, only happiness and appreciation here.
