There are 2 y-leads for 2 motor drive, i only need one but why do you need a y-lead one goes to the receiver and the split?

Is there also a connection to put the lights on the 251?

Best regards Yves

Picture 1 shows the lead to the battery. There should be a suitable connector wired to red and black leads with ring terminals on the end.

Picture 2 shows the voltage convertor for the recoil module - which I don't think you need as neither the Sd.Kfz 251 or the Pak 40 have recoil.

Picture 3 shows the blue/yellow wires which go to the smoker loom for the fan.

Picture 4 shows the motor leads. You will need to solder an XT60 socket which will plug into the yellow plug in picture 3. Or you might be able to use the leads in picture 3. I'm not too familiar with the new smoker wiring so can't say for certain.

Picture 5 shows the MOSFET from the new smoker system - it doesn't need to be plugged in anywhere, but I would protect it from touching anything.

The Y leads in picture 6 allow the signals from the track outputs on the receiver to go to the motor controller on one leg and the audio module on the other. If the 251 only has one motor then you only need one lead.

Adrian.

Interesting :D

So the lead for the Recoil power convertor should go into one of the sockets in the Power Module.

Hi Adrian,

Yes thats what the label on the wire says, the recoil convertor goes to the power module and the 2 wires from the smoker
goes to somewere else than the 2 wires from the motor connection. I will post a foto tomorrow.
Thanks

Best regards Yves

As Adrian already indicated - but here is the official word:

Photograph 1 - That plugs into the battery supply (24V).

Photograph 2 - One plug goes into the battery supply (as in photograph 1). The other plug (for the 5V supply into the recoil module) goes into the POWER MODULE.

Photograph 3 - This used to be for the old design smoke fan. You can try to use them for the main drive motor, but the wires are quite thin and may get hot/melt if you put a lot of current through them

Photograph 4 - Motor should be connected to MODULE A. Easiest thing to go is to cut the spades off the motor lead and cut one of the XT60 connectors off from MODULE A. Then connect the wires directly. The disadvantage is that it will be hard to disconnect the motor in the uture f you want to do any maintainance.

Photograph 5 - You do not need to do anything with this part. The exposed metal part is a heat sink so do not wrap it.

Photograph 6 - Only one Y cable is needed as you only use one motor.
