Mark,
Really like your build: both the engineering and your painting skills. I hope to do something similar with my gun.. as and when. So I am following your ideas for elevation and recoil with interest.

......... Will be interested to see your blank fire, recoil ideas.
Best regards,

Hi Mark, apart from potential safety issues, it is illegal in many countries to have a blank firing system that can recoil. For that reason, we kindly request that if you do develop a blank firer with recoil, you do not post the details here.

Preliminary test are done...this is the system I'm using for barrel recoil... I'm using a 90 gram high pressure CO2 cylinder to provide pressure to operate a single pneumatic cylinder with 3 inches of travel controlled by a 5 port solenoid valve ..I installed an adjustable exhaust port muffler or silencer to control and slow the speed of the barrel going back into battery. I will post a video of the action once reinstalled not showing any details as per Armorteks request...the 90 gram disposable co2 cylinder gives approx. 75 to 100 recoil cycles..the solenoid is controlled with the radio using a spare channel with an electronically controlled switch..I coupled a low pressure regulator to the high pressure regulator that attaches to the co2 cylinder...40 psi seems best ..the components are small enough to mount in turret the electrical wiring will be the only concern with turret rotation.. pen for size reference

A short video showing elevation, recoil and blank firer ...I'm not showing any of the build details or installation at the request of Armortek...I can fire off up to 10 blanks..all worked very well !

That's awesome Mark. The recoil is so strong that it might also rock the hull.

They look superb :D

If anything, they're a little bit neater than the ones on Tiger 131™.

This is one of the older kits..I believe the 2nd run 2005 ? bought it off a guy back in 2006...number 50 is on the underside of turret...anyway the turret is a one piece casting...done very well ! although the casting is great I just could not sit it on the brass bearing as I'm sure the two unlike metals would cause unnecessary friction and strain on the turret rotation motor so I added a 0.016" brass collar ..brass on brass

Hello

Where did you get the high pressure regulator that attaches to the co2 cylinder?
