I wish I could paint so fast and so straight.

I'm doing masking and painting one by one.John Clarke wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2019 12:41 pmI wish I could paint so fast and so straight.

There is no particular royal road in this painting work.
The first snow of winter is falling in Korea.
It's so cold that I'm taking a rest from painting the tank today.

Re: Chieftain kit arrival
Today, after completing my four-day education trip, after work, I briefly painted my Chieftain No5. at home. Today's temperature was warm, so the painting was a little easier.
Maybe by the end of this week paint work is expected to end.

Re: Chieftain kit arrival
I finished painting the body part of the Chieftain Tank today.
And now I've started painting the tower.
Since the tower is very heavy, I will take the safety into account, take the parts apart, finish painting and reassemble.

I have finished painting my Chieftain No5.
I am going to read about the next King Tiger tank until the option packs arrives.
Have a good day.

Super Job Youngjae,
Still think you need a bigger table though.

Re: Chieftain kit arrival
I'm looking at the difference between the colors of my tank and the real pictures.
I didn't match 100 percent, but I felt the need to make some modifications, and I worked hard to peel off some of the existing paint.

I modified some of the seals today, using the effects of strong white primer, to resemble historical photographs.

Re: Chieftain kit arrival
I finished the modified painting work today after work.
I'm going to install the option packs next week.
The option packs are scheduled to arrive on Monday.
However, it is expected to arrive rather late due to the strike by the Korean UPS.
But I am very happy now with the hope that my Chieftain can run in my house yard before Christmas.

It'll be good to see it running in the open! Do you feel the need for a YouTube video? Hope so!
