Not really an update but I sat the turret on the bearing and spun it around a bit. And stick figure on for scale.

Part of me wants to assemble everything without priming all the bare metal pieces but I think I’ll wait and primer all the fenders and clamps first before assembling. Just waiting for some warmer temperatures.

Next big job will be adding Zim to the turret. Just need to test fit some pieces.

Where would one get a figure like that Brian?.....just wondering the circumstances in which one needed to obtain it.😁

Glen I believe it’s used for sketch artists to roughly outline poses in drawing.

If you search “ wooden sketch mannequin “ you should be able to find one

You want a 12 inch one to be more scale. Mine might b 13 inches would be a 7 ft tall person.

I like the mannequin. I suppose a seven foot tanker might have had a few issues especially in the smaller tanks.

Does anyone know if tank crewmen were selected based on their stature? I know fighter pilots were, at least in the US forces. You had to be under something like 5-ft 5-inches in height and not portly.

One is for the King Tiger. They are both late Tiger Hatches. But slightly thicker on the right for the KT
