Tiger 131 in West Sussex

Post by andymusgrove »

Hi Guys

I have started to build my Tiger 131 and come up against a problem bench testing the drive system.

I am using a JR DSX 9 II radio and Spektrum AR610 Receiver as recommended by Armortek
I have set up the radio for Delta wing (elevon) and hooked up the audio module input 1 to Elevator and Input 4 to Aileron on the receiver.
Audio Module output 3 to Motion Control Module 3 and
Audio output 5 to Motion control 4.
Audio control output 6 to Gear for now to test.

The motors are wired as is the sound module as above and to the power input

The Receiver was bound to the radio prior to this setup and tested with servos so i know the receiver works.

now when i switch on the by the remote module i get a single squek from the speaker. and no drive at all?

when operation the radio the relays can be heard switching and also the Motor led's D1 & D2 brighten and come to rest dull glow when the sticks are still.

Any ideas where i am going wrong anyone please??

Regards

Andy

Further to this i have taken the Audio module out of the equation and get the same results??

Batteries are fully charged - tested all the fuses all ok..

Very frustrating

Do you have access to a volt meter ? Do you get a voltage between the sets of blue and yellow leads for the motors ?

How are your DIP switches currently set ?

If the LEDs are changing, then it looks like the radio side is setup OK.

According to the Elefant instructions, switch 4 should be ON (UP) for 60A output on Output 3 and OFF (DOWN) for 5A output.

That shouldn't stop the other track though.

Looks like you've tested everything I would :(

The factory should be open again now, so probably best to give them a ring.
