Hi Adrian
I forgot to add the rinse in clean water before drying, just to get the soap off.

So the cabinet and compressor arrived this morning :D

After a few false starts, due to neither arriving with an air line - thank heavens for the local Screwfix  - I've managed to get it plumbed in and tested.

This is a couple of track links, showing the before and after:

Still not sure I'm getting the pressure regulation right on the compressor, so taking it gently at the moment.

So am I. I'm much more confident I'll be able to use some of the 70 odd that were saved from the fire.

Hit a bit of a speed bump today

There is no moisture trap between the compressor and the blasting cabinet, and today I was having to clean out the nozzle of the gun at regular intervals. After a few minutes use, I was finding that there was a build up of gunky sand around the inside of the nozzle, which eventually stopped the gun picking up any more sand.

I'm going to buy a moisture trap to fit to the side of the cabinet, as I was surprised when I disconnect the air line that there was water dripping out of the end of it. One of the problems with using it in damp conditions I suppose.

I wonder if the media will dry out if I put it in oven tins in the airing cupboard ?
