I buy LEDs at the usual electronics mail order companies. Red ones need approx. 20 mA (maybe 2.5 volts). A perhaps necessary pre-resistor for all voltages can be calculated choosing these two values with the basic formula of electricity (U = R * I).
Unfortunately I don't know Benedini modules. The Beier module allows to choose the output voltages for each exit.
With the Benedini TBS5 there were resistors included on the board but the Mini does not have them so you have to put external resistors in. The ultrabright 3mm leds are usually 2.5 volts and using the formula 50 x (Supply Voltage - Led voltage) = Required Resistor. So 50 X (5 - 2.5) = approx 125 ohms 1/8watt.
