Great news for all Panzer III fans out there - we will be re-releasing a very limited run - only 25 kits.
Shipping will be towards the end of spring - price and shipping date to be confirmed in the next week or so.
For the FAMO fans out there - there is no impact on the FAMO ship date as the PIII will be manufactured whilst we are designing and prototyping the FAMO.

2025 ARMORTEK KIT SURVEY
Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.
So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.
We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.
Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Re: Panzer III coming soon - Spring '18
That is good news for many Panzer 3 fans out there.
Will you be making any improvents to the kit or re-releasing exactly how it was done previously.
I ask because the aftermarket parts that Steve Winstone produced are a nonger available.
It would be great to get the road wheel profiles a bit closer to prototype and also a better scaled (smaller) Cupola would also be brilliant.
Cheers
Tim

Re: Panzer III coming soon - Spring '18
Enlarging the front access hatch and re doing the the rear deck plates would seem to be a good improvement as well as Tims suggestions

Oh yes, modding that front access hatch is not a lot of fun to do and i managed to kill my Proxon when cutting out the hole.
One other thought would be if you could do a Schurzen kit as an upgrade for the Panzer III.
Maybe offering the Hull and Turret kits as two separate options.
I am wanting to add Turret Schurzen for my Panzer III.
Cheers
Tim.

Agree with Simon, there is so much scope for fine detail, it's a much more complicated tank than its bigger German cousins.
I did a piece on the re-profiling of the roadwheels here:
http://www.armortek.co.uk/Forum3b/viewt ... &start=285
and I put the definitive profile here:
http://www.armortek.co.uk/Forum3b/viewt ... =15&t=2545
There are a few other important corrections which Mark might consider:
- reduce the diameter of the cupola to scale and re-position to the rear
- increase the angle of the sloping top front turret plate and adjust the side armour plates accordingly. (I think this is the most important change visually)
- reproduce the characteristic curve of the track guards seen in side profile, they're currently flat, whereas the front and rear sections should slope downwards.
- correct the overhang of the hull top rear plate
- as mentioned by Mark and Tim, resize the engine access hatches (if it wasn't already done on the second production run)
- if it's economic to do so, produce the correct circular section to the roadwheel swing arms
- and a final wish, which is probably viable neither financially or practically: introduce the hollow track horns
I couldn't think of a better choice for a re-run of a fine Armortek model. Kept me amused for years.

Re: Panzer III coming soon - Spring '18
My latest master is suddenly quite apt. Tim asked me for an aerial base at SW model show and hey presto more Panzer III's it could be fitted to

Re: Panzer III coming soon - Spring '18
We are now opening pre-orders for the PIII.
The 2018 PIII will come with several improvements -
The most significant from an engineering perspective is the TURRET SIDES MACHINED FROM SINGLE PIECE OF ALUMINIUM
This will give a level of accuracy of fit not seen before !
Have a look at the picture below to see the size of the block that we will be using.
From a modelers perspective the most significant improvements are:
