I have had several requests for accommodation information and have made a list of web site links below. I have been told that many places are booked up, this is a holiday area and although September is out of the school holidays it is still very busy. Hopefully these web sites will be helpful.

Sunday 14th September - Tank Museum Update
The talk on the King Tiger will be at 11am. Hopefully this will be early enough to allow time for those of you with long jouneys home on the Sunday.
The plan is to give the talk by King Tiger 104, however if numbers are greater than around 30 or if the Museum is particularly busy it will be held in one of their conference rooms. I have asked about the talk being recorded however unfortunately have been told that this will not be possible.
To get the discounted entry to the museum you will be given a voucher at the open day to be handed in at the museum on Sunday.
If you would like to be included please let me know as soon as possible to help our planning and that of the Tank Museum
Many thanks
Gill

Are you looking for accommodation for the open day?
Hi Guys
Just out of courtesy to you all, if your looking for B&B at a reasonable price for the open day my wife has found some. After she was on the phone for approx 2 1/2 hours yesterday all local B&Bs seem to be full (due to a local wedding and the open day) or too expensive, however we have found a place in Marsh near Honiton, which is approx 10-15 minutes drive away, just off the A303. The rates are reasonable and we have already booked our rooms.
I beleive there still is 3 twin rooms and 1 double room available. The web site is http://www.cottagemarsh.co.uk/. tel 01460 234240.
Just thought this might be helpful for anyone else trying to find accommodation and save a massive phone bill.

Open day 08
Hi Gill,
Just to let you know that I will be attending the Armortek open day on the 13th of September. I will be bringing a guest, and will have some of my tool accessories with me for sale on the day. (See posting on the craftsman’s market forum).
I’m afraid that I will not be able to make it to the tank museum due to a prior engagement.
Looking forward to the day.
Tim

Hi Jason
We will start at 10 am. Last year we did not have an official finish time, however most people stayed until about 4 - 5 pm. Mark and I will probably lock up to go over to the Airclub about 6.30 - 7pm so anyone still left at this point will get thrown out then
We will be very busy on the Friday and would be very grateful if anyone coming down that day could wait until the Saturday to come and see us.
I will be posting more details on the days events, competitions, prizes and also frequency control, shortly so please keep checking back to this topic.
Many thanks
Gill
