FOTUBA 6EX JOYSTICK

Post by Graham Ord »

I know you can change the l/h joystick from ratchet to smooth feel by changing the spring which bears on the wheel inside, but can you make the joystick self centreing like the r/h one by fitting the missing parts? While I was fitting the smooth feel spring both sides looked like it was possible.

Hi Graham,

yes you can. Just buy the set as it is fitted on the right side ( coil spring and leaver ) and install on left side. I have done it. Perfect controle with crrect feel.

Hello Grayham

As Roland says you need to by the return spring for that set. If you are going to the open day i will bring one down for you and i will fit it for you.

Hi Lee and Roland,

Do older model Futaba radio control spring-stick sets fit the newer 6EX? I think I already know this answer. LOL

Graham, thanks for posting the question.

Hi Tim,

I do not know since I'm not an expert in such things. Sorry, but I have only told a single experiance with my RC.

What I forgot to mention, with this set of parts the stick will be centering automaticly, just as requested.

Good luck - Roland
