Hello,

Here are some new pictures of the work on my panther.

Did a modefication on the gear, spacer rings for turret rotation, i drill extra holes
to put the rings together, so if i wanted to loose the turret i have only to unscrew the 6 wingnuts.

I also countersink the bolt in the rear deck.

I put the turret parts in primer and put them back together.

Also started on the turret roof and copula.

What a gorgeous little mill! You will be in the sh.t if she's sees her washing line being used as an outdoor spraying booth.
Good idea with the wing nuts , three would have been enough :D regards Phil.

Hi all

The standard kit design of the new turret bearing on the new Panther is the same as that used on Tiger 131. The bolts go in from underneath , through the spacers, bearing ring and gear and a nut is fitted on top. To fit the turret simply lower it onto the projecting bolts and secure with the wing nuts. There are cut outs on the underside of the floor to clear the first nuts.
