It's rather curious: as far as I hear, the german WW II - models -and here especially the Tiger / King Tiger- are a worldwide 'mainstream' for tank lovers, and many manufacturers in the world can make a good deal with them.
E.g. though the Leopard II is considered by some folks to be the best tank in the world, even in Germany the Tiger cats are more beloved! In USA the Abrams is a very impressive tank, but the Tiger models are even more wanted, so I am told.
Each manufacturer is forced to sell all his products to adequate prices to survive in a worldwide market. Therefore I fear that niche products will have not a real chance to be developped.
Another possibility could be the same models in other scaling, e.g. 1/4 scale. In Germany / Swiss / Austria there exists a growing scene with this scaling, and the CNC- machines probably could be easily shifted to other scales. Why not produce a King Tiger in 1/4 scale? This would be a very impressive model, so I mean.
