Hello , can anyone help, I have just finished installing the motion pack to my panzer 111 .
Before this was fitted all the modules where connected up on the bench and tested ,the
Audio module was set up with the Toggle switch on the transmitter, all ok
I then installed everything in the tank without disconnecting anything, but now when I
Turn on the system all I get is a hiss from the speakers and no sound or functions from
The audio module .also the hissing stops for a moment then comes back on , I have checked
All the connection but can't find anything wrong

Re: TB5 mini sound card problem
Just a thought.
I presume the speakers are mounted so that they face upward through the engine decking.
The speakers I have for my Kingtiger have the connections on the rear side.
Maybe too much insulation has been stripped off the speaker wires and they are shorting out on the hull or the speaker connections are.
If you can still get to the speakers, turn them upright and see if the problem persists.Alternatively slide a piece of plastic or cardboard underneath them and see if the problem persists.

Re: TB5 mini sound card problem
Check number one - has the volume control been knocked to "off" ?
Which amplifier version is it ?
Could the Mini board have been dislodged from the main amplifier board during the fitting ?
Adrian.

Re: TB5 mini sound card problem
You may not have disconnected anything during fitting but maybe something was dislodged during the process.
Try removing and refitting every connector.

Re: TB5 mini sound card problem
Hi Adrian , the volume control is ok just gives a louder hiss when turned up
I have double checked all the connections on the module and reciver, the set up
Function doesn't work on the board and doesn't respond to the transmitter
The sound card is in place and hasn't dislodged. The sound from the speakers ,sounds like
You are tuning a radio in
The discripton on the amplifier is
Audio board
26.1.2016
Issue 3.0

Yes the green light is flashing , and goes solid when you hold the button in
And then starts to flash again
And then starts to flash again

Re: TB5 mini sound card problem
The TBS Mini looks like it is operating normally, and the amplifier is generating some kind of audio, so it looks to be some kind of problem with the audio connection between the two.
I would think you will need to return the Module to Armortek for Mark to take a look at it and determine which is at fault.
