Re: RODNEY'S 25 POUNDER FIELD GUN
Hi All,
Well I'm back with sorting out my 25 PDR Firing Platform, and now consider it finished?
And thanks Marcus, I changed my mind and went for removing the outer ring (EJ0221)
Which made the job much easier in alining the spokes in the right place!
See my new updated corrected version below.
Time to get back to the main gun and see what I can upgrade!
Cheers
Ian

I'm back with some working drawings on my main gun again, and turned my attention on upgrading the firing seat and hopefully create from them.

Re: RODNEY'S 25 POUNDER FIELD GUN
Hi Dave & Co…….
Thanks for your complements on my 25 PDR Seat & Bracket.
I'm pleased with the end results on this little upgrade and feel happier now that it looks something like a real one!…although it has taken some time to design and produce.
So I think it's time to move on and see what else I can upgrade on the 25 PDR gun!
I have attached a few more pics and final amended designed illustrated working drawing.

Hi Derek,
Thanks for your nice comments on my seat 25 PDR Seat.
It's as real as I can make it, but we will see what my 1/6th aimer thinks of it when I get round to buying up a few gun crew.
I'm sure Mark is still designing the Morris Quad 4x4 truck or something like it to go along, pull along with our gun and limber kits.
Looking forward to that for sure
Cheers

Re: RODNEY'S 25 POUNDER FIELD GUN
Hi All,
Well I'm back with some new upgrading parts for my 25 PDR Gun.
I had a go at improving upgrading the right hand side Stowage Bracket and Lever that is attached to the side of the trail beam.
There was not much in the way of extensive upgrading on these parts, but just the smallest upgraded changes helps to make the overall look of the bracket more like the real one's!
So to follow my drawings I will hopefully produce a working stowage bracket and lever to be able to raise the gun platform into the travelling platform clamps attached to the underside of the trail beams.
Next, I will upgrade the left hand side Stowage Bracket, which is a slightly different design and make some new drawings to help me design this one too!
Cheers Ian

Hi All,
I'm back again this time with drawings of the left hand side Stowage Bracket and lever.
Was a slightly different set up, to the other bracket on the other side.
So hopefully I can make these two brackets together to add to my 25 PDR gun soon!
HAPPY EASTER
Cheers Ian
