Hi all
Dose the turret just sit on the brass ring or should there be some kind of bearings.
Because mine is very tight.
I am thinking about drilling some small shallow holes and putting some steel ball to act as a bearings.

Re: Tiger 1 turret question
It just sits on the brass ring.
Is yours in two halves ? That type were dashed hard to get circular.
The current ones are machined from round stock, so no roundness issues.
Try marking around the brass ring with a permanent marker, then install the turret and move it around. That should show you the worst of the sticking points.
Adrian.

Hi there
Thanks for that i will try that now.
Yes 2 brass halfs needed lots of clamps and string to get it to follow the contour of the deck.
Thanks again

HANS-PETER QUAMBUSCH IN GERMANY MANUFCTURES WHAT YOU NEED. BEAUTIFULLY MADE BEARINGS FOR THE TURRENT. I BOUGHT 12 FOR MY KING TIGER. HE DOES NOT GIVE THEM AWAY....IN FACT HE IS RATHER PROUD OF THEM AS HE SHOULD BE. COST ME $165.55 INCLUDING POSTAGE.
USING THESE BEARINGS ELIMINATES ALL WORK FOR YOUR TURRENT MOTOR !!!
