Hi MArucs,

Its releived slightly on that side and does clear the nut. I've just remade the Handspike and brackets as when I fitted the castings this morning they looked a little undersized

Some pics of the fitted box and a few other bits later on :D

Cheers

Excellent work Dave, parts fit perfectly (also testament to the dimensional control of Armortek!!)! Rivet holes are spot on! Clean-up is very straightforward and all parts were installed in half an hour.
Have to redo the rivets though, since I decided not to use the kit rivets. Those smaller rivets do look smart but they are a pain to install in the existing holes, sometimes...... .
Everyone using the kit rivets will have nothing to fear!!!!

Cheers,

Marcus

Hi Marcus,

You are more than welcome. There is no way I would use your brake drum without you taking something in return :D
There will be a second parcel once the other parts are done. I will keep a note on your build and fill in the gaps.

Very best regards

Dave

Hi All,

I added the gunners seat lock to the breech detail mould block. I've also made another of the lower trail angles.

Cast texture has now been added to the barrel counterweight and as I am remoulding the Handspikes made the other breech detail part to go in a mould tonight.

Best regards

Dave

Dave, I see you are using a hex bolt on the breech, but a square bolt was used on the original.

I'm using a Armortek Tiger rear deck bolt that I sand down a bit.

Hi All,

New breech detail parts and welds added. New Handspikes done and fitted and one shown in the rear socket.

Bolt changed to a square head also, well spotted Leon :D

I am doing the bottom angle that is still missing, the two storage boxes and the foot pedal assembly for the handspike sockets then thats the update kit done. It wil include 40 tie downs, which I think is how many needed but wil confirm once I have fitted them.

Anything else will be small one off additions.

Best regards

Dave

Hi All,

Last of the rear trail angles done. Mould plate seemed a little empty so made the travel lock parts too. As its a flat back casting it will only work in the stowed position against the left trail arm but its a bonus piece.

The little handle is for the sight opening cover.

There is one more small plate detail that goes on the back of the Breech block that I'm going to add to the mould then thats it for the kit parts.

Best regards

Dave

Excellent Dave!
Even the locking plunger on the foot pedal is included!
How did the gunshield fit on your gun? For some reason the guntube cutout is not centered on the guntube itself.

Cheers,

Marcus
