Lighting wiring question

Post by John Grima »

Hello all, I'm currently working on one of the older Armortek Panther kits. On the tank I have what I believe is the Steve Winston headlight and taillight tube. Does any one know what voltage these bulbs are? I'm currently hooking them up and I don't want to burn them out.

Hi John,

I just connect the 2 in series and then you can drive them from the 24 volt aux socket or the blank fire output on the aux module. If you use the aux output you will need a diode in series.

Dennis.

Thanks guys,

Dennis, That's exactly what I had in mind, but was not sure if the bulbs were going to be able to take it.

I'm now off to soldering will post some progress pics in my panther post soon.

Hi Ray, I added the video link and images to my Panther build blog, http://www.armortek.co.uk/Forum3b/viewt ... 308#p39308

Hooking up the fans is very similar. If you need me to draw up a drawing of the layout let me know.
