Hi Steve!
I hate to tell you this, but your engine, although supercharged and unmuffled, just won't do. But the rest looks very good! I particularly like your mechanical on/off arrangement. You probably spent less time on it than I did on my electrical counterpart!
Someone once mentioned the need for an emergency cutoff switch. As mine had been 100% reliable, I first thought that to be ridiculous. On second thought, though, the remote possibility of 200kg metal tank out of control in a public crowd with the kids closest (tends to be that way...) made me realize that it really is a good idea. I made mine by resting the rear louver on the switch, so that simply pressing it down a millimeter or two cuts (or engages) power. Very practical and convenient, it has turned out. You can do that with your mechanical variant if you position it right.

Thank you for the comments . The engines did prove to be difficult to hook into the exhaust system , not to mention the rest of the drive train ! I also think it is a good idea for a cut off . My battery connector is accessible through the right rear hatch , though difficult to get to in an emergency . I had planned a toggle switch back there to cut the battery negative . So now I am going to use the switch , but tie it to the hatch with a small chain so all that will be needed is to raise the hatch to kill it .

Here are a few pics depicting my first ever attempt at simulated rust . And spiffing up the supplied jack block with brass scrap and brass pins and a piece of paper clip . Also a scratch built rear light made from an old style automotive fuse , brass scrap and a blue LED scrounged from a novelty ink pen . The LED actually shines blue but the housing was clear , so I colored it with a marker . That's all for now .

Hi all!
Here are a few more pictures showing my remote lights solution,my stock machine gun converted to flashing LED using an old emergency light for parts,different batteries and a new toy for the commander.The batteries were needed as the old ones were not in as good of shape as I thought.And they crapped out on me twice out in the back yard.Even though I am 6 feet tall and 300 lbs,it is still quite a task to drag it back into the work shop alone!I should have taken a pic of that!

Do you know that you can drive the m/c gun led direct from the TBS5 in the amplifier module so that when you select m/c gun sounds on pos 5 the led will flash in sync with the sounds. If you want details of connections then let me know.

Hi Steve,
Just make sure that switch will take the current, needs to be at least 30 amps either that or use it together with a relay. I usually use a double pole switch and strap both poles together which doubles the current rating of the switch.
