Thanks for the positive post, I think the Sherman is almost there and then it all comes unravelled by a single internet photo.
I dont think it will ever be finnished.

Great looking Sherman Roy, you must be very pleased with the result
I'm intrigued to know what the "single internet picture" was and why it upset everything ?
It's funny how seeing one of these Shermans in green with the silver tracks takes me back to the 70's and the original Airfix Sherman 1/72 kit, which was exactly those colours. Gawd knows how many of them I made, as well as the LCT combo kit

There isnt a single photo to say, just a quick click here or there and you see things you never noticed before.
Toadmans pics spring to mind.
I am very happy with the build and am half way through a 222 which now i can post pics will start to do.
