My Sherman

Post by Roy Pickavance »

Hi all,
These are a few pic of my attempt to finnish a 2006 Sherman I got of David Brady in late 2010.
Detail work had been done on the suspension and rear deck vents.
The hull machine gun had been milled out and a new barrel for the new gun turned
Here are a few pics David posted and is as it was when i picked it up.
All pics I post on the Sherman will be all my own work with some parts from Armorpax and East coast armoury.
The Tank is now nearly finnished and running.
Regards Roy

Hi David,
The sherman has been a real challenge as this is my first model build in 30 years and that was a tamiya F4 Phantom.
I will carry on posting pic over the next few weeks as like I said it is almost finnished. Just wants sound fitting, insignia and weathering.

Hi Paul,

Not yet, but if I have many more long weekend shifts like the one just gone, I will need more than a blue pill to keep me upright. 12hr nights, didn't get home till 10:00 on Sunday morning, then I had to stop up to watch F1. Schumacher knocking people off the track, Helen says his Mercedes team are useless (cue for Chris to jump all over me) two bottles of wine with dinner then fell asleep on the sofa and woke up at 06:00 this morning with a bad back  :( sooner that lottery comes up the better  :D
