I mentioned that one already. If that is available it would be ideal. Beautiful work by Brian.

Has anyone contacted Brian on the cost and availability? If not, I will - I bought some parts from him in the past and he was very good - and the parts excellent and I thought VERY reasonable in price. His efforts on this part must have slipped by me.
Let me know,
Jim
Thanks,
Jim

I had not contacted him. I knew the cupola on Stephen's build but could'nt remember who made it. Would be great if you could contact him rather than everybody else.
Thanks

Re: Panzer III / IV Cupola - Request to Mike @ Toyrific
Hi everyone,
First I need to apologize for not reading this sooner. I have been very busy and had not looked at the forum in a while.
I see theree is some interest in the PzIII/IV cupola.
Price, as always is a problem.
I worked with Stephen to produce the cupola for him. It is to scale! I spent perhaps two months ferreting out the dimensions.
What I made was all of the cupola with the exception of the hatch, glass inserts, visor levers, and tin that goes between the visors.
Stephen made the other parts and I cannot thank him enough for the help and encouragment he gave me. Hopefully I helped him a bit too.
I hope I have this right, if not, please do not take offense and I will correct it. I am having my morning coffee now
His cupola was produced on my 3-D printer.
I am currently building an oven so that I can produce parts via lost wax casting.
They would be aluminum primarily, with the glass holders, hinges, handles and such in brass.
Again, my cupola is to scale and is smaller than the Armortek one.
I think it really looks the part though.
If people are interested, I could produce some cupolas on the printer.
This would be the cupola ring, top and bottom flanges and covers, the armored ring, and the visors. I do not want to make the glass blok holders because two would break for each one that I sent to Stephen. The problem being the hinges.
These parts need to be in brass.
Here is a link to Stephen's beautiful first class, should be the winner, build.

Is anyone interseted in this?
I have other parts i have designed in SolidWorks. I suppose I need to get a move on and get the oven finished.

Not too interested in the glass blocks and hinges as I will have a go at these. More interested in cupola itself. This was excellent work. I thought Stephens model was a winner also.

Good morning
I would be interested only in the cupola. How much was the price would be for the cupula without inserts?
Best regards
Dietrich

Re: Panzer III / IV Cupola - Request to Mike @ Toyrific
I PM'd Brian asking for 2 Cupola units as well.
Brian's work is excellent!
Not that Mike's isn't either; but, I just think the 3D printer creation path is a good match to this part creation. I have some of the 3D parts from Tim Bowman and was just blown away by the superior level of detail that venue seems to give....
Anyway, that is my view on this part/assembly.
