Some days I need to log in every time I visit here while other days everything works fine.
Some days surfing here work fast and fine but other days everything go sooooooooo sloooooooow :?
Today is sadly one of them "so slow" day.

Hi guys

We are very sorry about the speed of the forum at the moment. Our site is hosted by One.com in Denmark, and we have been advised that they are experiencing some problems at the moment because the equipment is being upgraded. Hopefully a speedier service will resume soon.

I usually use Iron but also tried it with IE8.

I've not had any problems since Mark's message so hopefully the server upgrades have solved the problem :D

Adrian, my experience is that what you describe most likely has nothing to do do with the Armortek side (Server, etc.). I've been checking the forum regularly over recent weeks with no problems, though I might have just been lucky. Check the following:

1. the Browser security settings must enable the accepting of 'Cookies' from the web site you are visiting. So check your Browser settings for that.

2. see if your software is enabled to remember password/username. For example I use Apple Safari and Firefox, after I initially log in then I am asked by the Browser if the software is to remember the password/username and I select 'yes'. If you accidentally clicked "no" then the Browser will not usually ask again when visiting the site and you will not automatically be logged in.

Hope that helps,

Martin

In my experience there was a connection between the forum being slow or even unattainable (server error) and the disappearing auto log-on.
Cheers,
Ad
