Hello all,
I'm looking for 1/6th stencils to do crossed keys and the laurel wreath below. Does anyone know where I may find these.
Look forward to hearing,
Cheers

Hi Duncan,
If you are just after the Crossed Keys then my Budget stencil is probably best.
Cheers for the plug Richie.
Best regards
Dave

Dave Can you please tell us how you use your stencils ...eg do you cut them out in the order that you need ? then tape them into postion ? and mask around to stop over spray , also how about the cross which part do you do first the centre part or the outline ? which colour do you paint first black of white ... Dale ..

Hi Dale,
The stencils should be cutout and used individually, I never spray but use a wide flat brush, cut short, so its like a full size stencil brush. I hold the stencil where I want and then stipple the paint in , normally Vallejo acrylics. Make sure there isn't too much paint on the brush and try it out till you get the right amount. This is the closest method I could get to recreating the "feel" of field applied stencils.
If you wish to spray just use masking tape around the stencil and mask enough area to avoid overspray.
With the Cross I put the middle on first then position the outline and add that.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
