A drawing exists in Achtung Panzer # 2 Page 46. Perhaps someone could post it. I have not yet mastered that.

The AA mount on the Bovington Pz III is a simple piece of bent metal bolted to the drainage holes in the cupola ring. It was a local mod, particularly seen in North Africa. It was intended to mount either the MG 34 bipod or a simple mounting pintle.

In May 1943, a production standard mount, the Fliegerbeschussgeraet 42, was introduced on the production line although only the N model was in production that late.

Hope that helps.

Hi Stephen,

Fantastic, great photo's and diagrams. Thanks

On the bottom one wouldn't that configuration need a cupola ring :?:

I particlularly like the one that uses the bipod as it gives quite a bit more elevation, I might go for that after I have drilled all the drainage hole.

Thanks for help,

Antony
