Hello model makers
Again I continue without consistency in the crafting. While I was looking at Leo's pictures online I noticed that the rear brake light is quite different from the one on the kit.I started by changing the shape, size and added a few more details to make it look as close as possible to the original.

I started by cutting out the basic shape of the stop

Next is a side processing to remove Tabs

Processing the rear part of the stop so that another detail can be added to it later

Making a mold for casting trial glasses for the stop lights

Next is a trial assembly of the base with the glass.

Naturally, there will be several glass samples, but the technological time to make one is more than 7 days.

Аnd a few pictures of the two different glasses + the Armortek one

Andre your firewall is stopping you because of the ads, which most sites can't do without. if you use Ad Block you won't see the ads and you can allow the firewall to open the photos

It's time to start assembling the model.
Тhe green color is the hermetic sealant I will use during assembly, (this is not silicone and does not dry out) The parts can be easily separated if necessary, but it prevents 100 percent moisture from entering between them. What comes out is easily removed with a dry cloth.

Hi Stanislav,

This is perfect craftmanship and I would do a pair of myself, if I'd had your skills ... you did not make two lights for me by mistake, did you?

Cheers, Andre

Of course I did it for you too, but there's something I need to tell you. My brake light is part of a new rear fender, that's how I designed it. I can make a transition piece to fit the original fender. Since the taillights will be functional, I expect the electrical boards for them to be ready next week.
I have 3 sets of taillights, one for me, one for you, and another one has been promised for another colleague from the forum who contacted me.

This is a render of the new rear fender, it is 100 percent interchangeable with the one from the kit.

Dear Stanislav, that's a nice "after Easter surprise" as I was only making a joke ... but thank you anyway, I will certainly pay for it in advance. I will also do it functional using my Beier USM-RC-3 which I already use for the sound system. So I believe that I can connect the 3 lights individually to the module.

Let me know how you plan to do the connection. Best regards, Andre :D
