Problem with the electronics of my Centurion (I need urgent help)
Hi guys
I have reached a point in the recovery of my Centurion where I cannot move forward. I connot figure out were the electronics that connect to the tower components fit and I do not have the instructions for this. also the cables were damaged when I bought it. I managed to figure out where the barrel elevation motor connects but I am completely lost to the rest. Can someone please help me? I´m attaching a diagram and photos of the mess I have ahead.
Thanks you very much.

Re: Problem with the electronics of my Centurion (I need urgent help)
The Blue/Brown pair go to the elevation motor as you have it.
The White/Yellow pair are a relic from the 12 gauge blank firer and aren't used in the Centurion.
The Green/Purple and Black/Red pairs go to the limit switches. I'll see if I can find a wiring loom with them attached but don't have anything to hand at present.

Re: Problem with the electronics of my Centurion (I need urgent help)
Finally found one with the right colours
.
At some point they started using a multicore with all black cabling
This is a from a Panzer III, so the lower switch is next to the mounting flange.
The upper switch has the red wire connected to the common terminal and the purple wire on the Normally Closed (NC) terminal.
The lower switch has the black wire on the common terminal and the green wire on the NC terminal.

Re: Problem with the electronics of my Centurion (I need urgent help)
Well, I think I've reached a point of no return and I'm really going to need assistance. I've already redid all the wiring twice and I can't get past from here. The movement of the wheels, the movement of rotating the turret and the movement of gun elevation works perfectly
I cannot have any sound (I hear the initial three beeps but it doesn't go from there) and I don't have recoil or flash (but the servo recoils when I restart the modules to its initial position).
I think the problem probably is on the recoil and amplifier module.
I already did as instructed and pressed the small button on the sound module, but without any changes. Do anyone know who can repair these modules or in a more extreme situation, is there a way to replace all this electronics, is there an alternative on the market?
Thank you very much

One more information, when I press channel 6, which I dedicated to firing (that should initiate the entire shooting sequence with the flash, sound and recoil), I hear the click inside the module.

Re: Problem with the electronics of my Centurion (I need urgent help)
If you hear three clicks when you power up, then the sound board, the amplifier and the speakers are OK, so I would say it's a problem with the RC wiring. If the relay goes through the initialisation sequence, then the module is getting power, the relay wiring is OK and the relay itself is OK.
When you say "when I press channel 6, which I dedicated to firing", how have you done that ?
Only the motion modules have relays inside, so when you select and play a sound, so you shouldn't hear a click. You need to find which module is making that click, as that will probably show where the RC wiring is wrong.

Re: Problem with the electronics of my Centurion (I need urgent help)
Hi
The saga of the faulty modules continues. I have already sent them to Armortek, and they have already returned them with two new modules that the company said would replace the faulty ones, but the problem persists. I now have sound in the channel 5 (that was fixed), but when I activate channel 6 to fire, I have no movement of the recoil servo, no sound or flash. In addition, I now have a new problem, the gun elevation motor only works in one direction (downward).
Could anyone please help me check if I have the connections made correctly? I made a small diagram of how I did the installation. I appreciate the help, I must be missing something.

Re: Problem with the electronics of my Centurion (I need urgent help)
In the Easy8 manual, the lead to the recoil module is plugged into RC Out 3 on the Audio Module.
It looks like you have yours plugged into RC Out 2.
With the elevation, do you mean it only drops the barrel ?
What sort of mechanism is used to raise and lower the barrel (motor or linear actuator) ?
If you support the weight of the gun barrel at the muzzle with your hand, will it elevate ?

Re: Problem with the electronics of my Centurion (I need urgent help)
Hi Adrin, thanks for keeping your interest in my case, this situation is getting frustrating. I switched to the RC OUT 3 but it didn't change anything, it continues to work the same way. Regarding the elevation, yes it drops the barrel, if I reverse the blue and brown cables on the auxiliary module it reverses the motor without any problem and in this case raises the barrel. Supporting it with my hand, does not affect anything. I'm leaning towards a problem with the auxiliary module.

Re: Problem with the electronics of my Centurion (I need urgent help)
Good morning everyone.
The gun elevation motor problem has been solved, it had a faulty switch. However, the firing problem persists, I can't get it to work. Is there anyone in this forum who can repair these modules, my auxiliary module needs to be overhauled?

Re: Problem with the electronics of my Centurion (I need urgent help)
If the elevation works, then there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the Auxiliary module.
First test to do with the recoil is to test the trigger output from the Audio Module.
Solder an LED and 180 ohm resistor onto the end of a spare servo lead, so you can easily plug it into the Audio Module, with the negative of the LED on one end of the servo plug and the positive on the middle of the servo plug.
Plug this into the Audio Module Out3 with the negative connection at the top and try the main gun. You should get a small flash on the LED.
If you move it to Out4 and try the machine gun sound, it should flash repeatedly whilst the sound is playing.
On Out5 and Out6, it should flicker when you start the engine sound.

Re: Problem with the electronics of my Centurion (I need urgent help)
Hello Adrian
I did the test and the outputs turned on the LED as described by you, I also tested outputs 1 and 2 and and in these the LED is always on. I don't know if this information help
