Hi Gents, totally new to this subject so probably a daft question. If I mount the electrical boxes CV0629 and 629M onto the front plate CV0104, it covers the top mounting screw hole. If I mount the plate the idler block covers the screw holes for the electrical boxes. Do I just stick in place?

you are right, this is a dilemma. I will certainly use the 4 screws to fix the front plate and glue the 0629 elements onto it. One also needs to drill a hole into the plate for the wires or one modifies the idler block before mounting everything. I don't see another way myself.
Best regards, Andre
Re: Electrical boxes on front plate
Hello Eric,
There are grub screws in the electrical boxes that locate the boxes on the front plate, There is a fastener on the inner side of the mudguard that locks it down, Also where the cable comes through for the light runs under the mudguard then back through the hull side,
Chris.

Re: Electrical boxes on front plate
Many thanks Chris and Andre. All is revealed, mounting could have been better understood if the locating holes for the M3 grubscrews had been blind drillings. Having a through hole with a countersink, apparently for a screw had me well confused. Again, many thanks.
