Hi I am new to this forum, following it already some years, and finally purchased the series one kit. I am preparing the car for an animatronics based 1/6st figure (also my first try in the era of robotics). First adaptation to standard kit is moving steering wheel. It moves in parallel with the steering servo (unfortunately i cannot upload videos in the forum to show it working.
Also adapted gearstick movable fore-aft (will be moving by the animatronics arm of driver figure. Next challenge is to construct a moving accelerator paddle.

Good evening Philip.

Lovely to have you on board, at last someone else prepared to share their build of the S1. :-D

I like do your idea of coordinated steering system, certainly will add realism. Looking forward to more robotics.

Take care.

Charles

Ooh that's a bit too electronic tech for me Phil.

Good luck with the modifications.

Mine will just have to be ghost driven lol.

I'm planning on some extra detailing work and the like, I enjoy engineering as a hobby so it's a perfect fit between a model kit that takes out all the grunt work and being able to dabble with the details, kind of like Slartibartfarst enjoying "all the fiddly bits around the fjords."

Look forward to seeing you build develop alongside me.

Mick

This is the link to the guy who developed it. I bought the 3D print files. Asked someone to do the 3D printing https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC23Yry ... Dn3uKGMqlQ
