M26 Pershing Mystery Part

Need help to identify the part shown below. What is the part number and where is it used? Thanks in advance for the help. Happy New Year 2024!

Ed,

I believe that part is EV0423 (Support insert) that goes into the .50 cal rack on the back of the turret. Page 36.

Let me know if that works.
