Paint, dark yellow

Post by Jerry Carducci »

The supplier of the paint I use is attempting to gauge what level of interest there is in the formula for dark yellow/ yellow beige aka 'dunkelgelp'
That I've been using for my models.

The target price is $32-35 per quart (946 ml) not including postage. There should be a limited supply available in a few weeks and if sufficient interest
more to follow.

I have used this on my Sd Kfz 7, FlaK 37 88 and I'm presently using it on my King Tiger with plans to use it on several others and smaller scales ( using Hardener). It is intended to be thinned prior to spraying and at a minimum of 45psi. A quart should more than be sufficient for most 1/6 scale models.

You can see it in action in my construction threads however I'll re-post some of the photos here.

If you are interested please PM me and I'll add your name to the list.

Jerry

I forgot to mention that when used as I have, without the hardener, nearly any quality paint may be applied over the dark yellow as camouflage color...
