Is the smoke fan On whenever you turn on power to the tank? Or should it only come on when the Smoke switch is turned on? Currently, my smoke fan is On whenever I turn on the tank. Doesn't seem like ti should be On unless the smoke unit is On. Insights?

Re: Smoke Fan
I'm not sure if it has changed but the smoke switch usually only cuts power to the element, to save power if your not using the smoker.
The fan should only spin when the engine sound is playing.

Re: Smoke Fan
Adrian,
Thanks for your feedback. Logic says the fan would be on only when the smoke unit is powered. But I guess that's not the case.

The fan will run whenever the tank is on. The smoke switch just controls the heating element.
